Couples come from all over the country to exchange their vows of Marriage (mostly barefoot) on the white sugar sand beaches,
with the emerald water and breath-taking sunsets as a backdrop along the Gulf of Mexico.
Florida Barefoot Beach Weddings are becoming more and more popular for couples of ALL ages.
The "Florida Destination Beach Wedding" is quite memorable for the guests as well.
Many of the Out of State couples are surprised at how many Family members and Friends travel to come to their beach wedding. in Florida/
Who would pass up a week-end at the beach? (Even Uncle Fred and Aunt Peggy may show up) ha!
Just as each couple has specific needs, each barefoot beach wedding ceremony is "customized" for the couple.
Children from previous relationships are involved throughout the beach wedding ceremony...it's an important day for them too!

Blessing Stones
During the ceremony the Bride and Groom each take a stone from a basket and repeat
a verse together. The guests are then asked to take a stone.
After the couple are pronounced Husband and Wife, everyone follows them to the edge of the water to make a wish or a Blessing.
The couple counts to 3 and everyone casts the stones into the water at the same time
The ripples that are made represent everyone's paths crossing and bring love and good wishes not only for the couple, but for anyone that they come into contact with.
(Some couples opt to use seashells)

Family Promises
Children from previous relationships are involved in your Barefoot Beach Wedding ceremony during Family Promises. Some couples opt to bring a gift to present to the child(ren) during the ceremony.
Children are also involved in other parts of the ceremony as well...
...after all it is an important day for them too!

The local Clerk of the Court's Office is located in Shalimar on Hwy 85 (Eglin Pkwy)... just minutes from our office. Go to Building "E"
The Bride and Groom must apply together in person.
(Must be 18 years old - or a parental consent must be completed)
Both must provide a State issued photo ID
The fee is $93.50 and there is NO blood test
FL Residents have a 3 day waiting period
Out of State residents can be married the same day license is applied for -
NO Waiting Period!

with our Original "Unity Heart of Glass"
As a symbol of "Unity" the couple is asked to take a hand of sand from beneath them and as they put it into the
"Unity Heart of Glass/ Unity Heart of Sand" at the same time, they repeat a verse together.
